Charles Rault has studied Political Science (Paris 2 Panthéon-Assas) and Asset Management (Wharton). He is interested in 1) long-term investing with a particular focus on sectors with basic needs, recurring activity and strong competitive advantage, 2) listed and unlisted companies with significant potential for very long-term portfolio compounding, primarily in mature and sustainable companies with increasing shareholder returns, 3) the practical application the Davis Double Play principle put forward by U.S. investor Shelby Cullom Davis (1909-1994).
